Cattle
Florida’s Source for High-Quality Wagyu Cattle
Green Tree Ranch is the only name you need to remember when it comes to prime beef and cattle for sale. We offer both registered and unregistered Wagyu cattle in Florida, with registration available if needed. Full-blood, purebred, F1, and F2 cattle are all available. Regardless of what you’re looking for, you can be confident that our cattle are tame, well-trained, and exhibit an excellent temperament. Contact us today for more information.
Raised the Right Way
Unlike factory farming and huge feedlots that push accelerated growth, Green Tree Ranch focuses on an environmentally sustainable operation that improves the land. By combining traditional pasture grazing, silvopasture, and the Florida sunshine, we’ve created an environment where our cattle can live their best lives.
We use locally produced feeds to boost nutrition during the months when grass and plant growth is limited, and we only provide hay from a limited number of local farmers with whom we’ve partnered. Additionally, our cattle are raised using low-stress cattle-handling techniques at all times. We never use cattle prods. At Green Tree Ranch, we know that happy cows treated with respect and dignity in a relaxed environment make for a better product.
USDA-Certified Prime Beef
Our beef processing is completed under the gaze of a USDA inspector and laboratory, with our beef being certified as safe for the public. The Wagyu beef we produce is graded well above prime—the highest rating awarded in the US. However, the Japanese system grades five levels above prime. You can find our beef in local restaurants, butcher shops, and markets, especially those specializing in farm-to-table and locally grown food.
Our premium beef is:
- Locally raised and grass-fed with no hormone or additives.
- Finished with grass or grain assist per customer request, duplicating the feed mix found in the wild. This modified version of the Japanese finish is more natural, uses our resources to the fullest, and creates an affordable above-prime product.
- Known for its fat profile, closely resembling olive oil and salmon.
- High in monounsaturated (healthy) fat.
- High in oleic acid that supports heart health.
- High in omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.
- Lower in cholesterol than turkey, chicken, or fish.
- High in conjugated linoleic acid, which is known to aid in weight loss, prevent type 2 diabetes, and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Cooking Our Beef
Because the fat in Wagyu beef melts at a lower temperature than the human body, it’s important that it’s not overcooked. Medium rare is the ideal cooking target. Using a grill mat and refraining from cooking directly over an open fire help preserve this high-quality beef’s juiciness and distinctive flavor. We recommend that new Wagyu customers seek online resources to help perfect their cooking techniques.
Come Visit Us
We welcome you to visit our ranch anytime to see where your beef comes from, show your family how food is made, or select your own grown Wagyu to take home. Simply phone or email in advance to arrange a time. We even offer specials when our ranch is overstocked.
We can also accept deposits for calves; however, calves are typically unavailable for pickup until five to six months of age. When the time comes, we use low-stress or natural weaning to ensure the calves remain happy and healthy.
